So I bit the bullet and got myself some patent shoes. I spent a lot of time looking at what was out there before I settled on Bea by O Oscar an Oscar de la Renta
They have a little bit of a platform and they aren’t sky high like the styles that are out there. My favourite part is that they have a rounded toe.
I picked these up at Town Shoes in Toronto and Zappos.com online.
Now I need a black patent handbag to match.

Get them at Town shoes if you can. Zappos price isn’t all that great compared to what I paid here. I do think they deliver to Canada but since the shoes aren’t made in the USA they will include duty instead of the usually provincial and federal taxes.
I’m really sick of these companies pawning off second rate shit as shoes. Today was the first day out with these beauties and the heel is beginning to detach already. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m absolutely furious right now. SO EVERYONE, DON’T BUY O OSCAR by Oscar De La Renta’s shoes at all!
I only hope Town Shoes return policy is as good as Shoon’s was, this is clearly a manufacturer’s defect
i was gonna post and say how beautiful and classic they were, but after this horror story, i think i’ll refrain.
My advice: Be nice at first and if they don’t take them back, scream like a banshee! Best of luck anita!
zappos doesnt deliver to canada does it?? those are cute, there are good patent purses at aldo accessories that would go nicely. also one from jeanne lottie at r2w or icon will match too.
